Fourier expansion coefficient of the hindering potential
Definition:The hindering potential of the internal rotation about a bond can be developed as a Fourier series over a function of the torsional angle α: V(α) = ∑N ½ VN (1 - cos N α). VN are the Fourier expansion coefficients, N is the multiplicity of the N-fold axis. In the simplest case where the series consists of one element, VN is directly called the hindering potential.
