HalfLife period (Chemical Kinetics) 
Definition:  The halflife of a reactand is the time which is required for its concentration to reach a value that is the arithmetic mean of its initial and final (equilibrium) values. If a reactand is consumed completely, it corresponds to the time needed to reach half of its initial concentration.
